Medititation - Super Brain Power

This will be a simple post, but meditation has been demonstrated to have a wide array of benefiical effects
  • Lower Stress
  • Higher Willpower
  • Ability to face difficult situations
The basic idea behind the practice is simple, focus on your breath, a mantra or your navel, do it while sitting, walking or lying down. If you start thinking about something else, note it and go back to your focus. Do it regularly, and build up to longer times over time, and your brain will develop in many beneficial ways, and you'll feel better.

If you need more, try either Sit Like a Buddha or one of the books from Jon Kabat Zinn or The Willpower Instinct. The benefits feel good, but it can be a hard path to follow.
